Our Pre-vocational Program
Our Batesville location provides work and non-work training opportunities to individuals with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities.
Pre-Vocational Services provide facility and community group training to prepare participants for paid or unpaid employment and volunteering.
Pre-Vocational Group Services teaches concepts such as:
Compliance - Attendance - Task Completion - Problem Solving - Safety
Habilitation Services are provided as a facility based service in a one on one or group setting.
Both individual and group services aim to teach and assist individuals with:
Daily Living Skills - Self-Care - Socialization - Communication
Participant assistant care (pac) services
PAC Services are provided to individuals in a one on one facility or community setting.
Community Habilitation Individual Services (CHIO)
CHIO Services are provided to individuals in a one on one community setting.
Both PAC and CHIO Services aim to teach and assist individuals with their daily living skills.
New Horizons Services can be funded through Medicaid waivers, group homes and private pay.
In order to obtain Medicaid waiver funding, an individual must contact the Bureau of Developmental Disability Services at 765-288-6516 to determine their eligibility.
